Meet Our Team

As your dental health professionals, Dr. Cho, Dr. Loland and their team want you to be confident knowing that we are a team of highly trained and skilled clinicians.

Dr. Min Cho

Dr. Cho received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2017. After graduating, she worked in Williams Lake before moving to Vernon in 2022 with her husband Isaac and their two dogs. After practicing at several offices in Vernon, she finally joined Dr. Loland and his team.

Always having had passion for helping others, Dr. Cho was naturally drawn to the health care profession and enjoys being able to express her interests in fine arts, details, and scientific knowledge through dentistry. She is known for her gentle, caring approach with a strong belief in doing what is right for her patients and doing things right. She strives to make the dental experience for her patients comfortable and finds great reward when patients leave with a smile.

Dr. Cho and her husband, like spending time outdoors with their dogs, Sunny and Jax. Sunny has been by her side through her education and training, listening to all the lectures together, so she jokes that Sunny and her together make a whole doctor. (Since January 2025, Sunny has sadly left us, but he made sure to pass on all his knowledge to Dr. Cho!) Dr. Cho and Isaac will be welcoming their first child in May 2025. She is excited for the new chapter in her life, starting a new family and a new work family with the team!

Dr. Mark Loland

Dr. Loland grew up in Prince George before heading to UBC in Vancouver to complete his undergraduate degree and dental training. He moved to Vernon with his wife Darlene in 1999 to join Dr. Bob Kersey’s practice and has worked to become part of the local community ever since. With three busy kids in a wide range of activities, there have been many opportunities to support and volunteer.

Mark has a passion for dentistry and always strives to meet and exceed patient expectations. He has spent hundreds of hours on continuing education to ensure the most advanced treatment options and techniques are available to his patients. Years of experience in all areas of dentistry from advanced cosmetics to basic fillings enables him to offer all options to all members of the family.

Mark always takes the time with his patients to ensure that all treatment options and procedures are clear. We are well aware that the dental office is not anyone’s favorite place, but rest assured, we will always put the patient’s wishes and needs first and do everything we can to make the experience as pleasant as possible.
